Lou and her mother Valérie have travelled to the euthanasia clinic to accompany the grandmother’s passing. On their way home, the car breaks down and they are left stranded on a deserted road surrounded by nature. Ignoring their communication issues at first, Lou eventually confronts her mother and provokes an emotional response from her. She feels as if Valérie abandoned their relationship just like she did with the grandmother. After a discussion that escalates into a fight, the two women are picked up by Valérie’s wife and driven home. Having made peace with each other, they can start their grieving process together.
