The Earth carries all of humanity’s memories within it. But when people suffer, their pain and torment inevitably rise to the surface. In 1916, the fields of Verdun were a theatre of unprecedented barbarism—battered bodies, mutilated landscapes, and skies darkened by despair.
Amid this, a soldier named Julien endures these dark times, forsaking youth and happiness. He and the nature surrounding him are forever bound by a common fate.
