Synopsis
A home care nurse who works with terminally ill patients and is dedicated to his profession, David develops strong relationships with people he cares for. But outside of work, he is awkward, suffers from depression, and is filled with remorse. To heal wounds from the past, he tries to reconnect with the family he once abandoned.

Michel FRANCO


Michel Franco is a Mexican film director, screenwriter and producer. His first feature Daniel and Ana was selected at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, and he also received the Un Certain Regard Award at Cannes for both After Lucia (2012) and April’s Daughter (2017). Michel Franco has received numerous awards in film festivals, at Cannes as well as Venice and Chicago among others. His films often deal with themes of dysfunctional families.
