Die achtjährige Violette ist vor kurzem zur Waise geworden und zieht zu ihrem Onkel Regis, einem Wartungsarbeiter im Schloss von Versailles. Die schüchterne Violette hasst ihn: Sie findet, dass er stinkt und beschließt, dass sie kein Wort mit ihm reden wird. Hinter den Kulissen des Sonnenkönigs werden das kleine, störrische Mädchen und der große Bär lernen einander zu zähmen und gemeinsam ihre Trauer durchzustehen.

Nathaniel H’limi
Graduated from the Beaux-arts in 2009, Nathaniel H’Limi directed stop-motion clips and had a parallel career as an art director (Nike, Leboncoin, Peugeot,…). In 2013, Nathaniel left to travel. He lived in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Australia and returned to France two years later. This passion for travel is reflected in his series of drawings “Bivouac”, as well as in his illustrations for the magazine “LONG COURS”. In 2016, he co-directed his first animated film La vie de Château (2020).
Clémence Madeleine-Perdrillat grew up in Paris. After studying Modern Literature, she decided to devote herself fully to screenwriting and joined the “Indélébiles” group. She directed several short films as well as La Vie de Château (2020). She worked as a scriptwriter on different projects for series like Nox (2017), Nona et ses filles (2021), Voltaire Mixte (2021), for feature films like Revenir (2019), for short films like Les Bigorneaux (2018) and on virtual reality projects such as L’île des morts (2018).
