De Humani Corporis Fabrica
Synopsis
Filmed at five Parisian hospitals, De Humani Corporis Fabrica examines the strain to which the French health system and its staff are subjected, while also diving deep into the human body. The camera shows us in amazing detail the impact of surgical procedures on bones and organs, and the seemingly cool detachment with which the doctors and nurses perform the operations while under enormous stress.
