Baas BRIMER

Baas BRIMER is an environmental and climate expert with extensive experience in development cooperation. Working at LuxDev, Luxembourg’s development cooperation agency, he advises on climate and environmental strategies to support sustainable projects in the Global South.

His career has taken him across continents, from shaping climate resilience strategies at the UN World Food Programme in Laos and Italy, working with the European Union on development cooperation, and consulting engineers in Senegal. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of how climate action and development go hand in hand.

With a background in Earth System Science from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Baas speaks multiple languages and thrives in international settings. He is passionate about practical solutions that balance sustainability, justice, and efficiency. Whether working on policy, projects, or out in nature, he is always driven by curiosity and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
