Biografie

Nora Koenig, born in Luxembourg in 1979, completed her acting training in 2003. Since then, she has worked as a freelance actress and teacher at the Conservatoire de la Ville in Luxembourg and in Germany. Her early performances as a guest at the Kiel Theatre were followed by numerous other productions.

Over the years, Koenig has performed in several cities, including Recklinghausen, Luxembourg, Berlin, Cologne, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Hanover, Kaiserslautern, Saarbrücken, and Wuppertal. Some of her most notable recent productions include 7 Minuten (directed by Carole Lorang), a co-production with Staatstheater Mainz; Die Spieler (directed by Frank Hoffmann), with guest performances at Recklinghausen, Deutsches Theater Berlin, and Staatstheater Hanover; Penthesilea (directed by Stefan Maurer) at Theater Kaiserslautern; and Das letzte Feuer (directed by Anna Frick) at Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg.

In the 2024/25 season, Koenig features in several productions: Traumnovelle at Théâtre National du Luxembourg and Tag Theater Liechtenstein, directed by Frank Hoffmann; Winterreise by Jellinek at Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, directed by Jakob Arnold; and Der Pelikan by Strindberg at Schauspiel Salzburg, directed by Stefan Maurer. She will also portray Julie in Fräulein Julie, directed by Maurer, at Schauspiel Wuppertal. In the film industry, Koenig has recently appeared in Arman & Elise by Kiyan Agadjani, Marginal by Loic Tanson, Lost Transport by Saskia Diesinger, and Raspberries with Mustard by Ruth Olshan.
