The Berlinale ended on Sunday (23.02) and delivered its awards, which is very much echoing with our programme!
Among the winners: Sex director Dag Johan Haugerud (in our Official Selection Out of Competition) won the Golden Lion for Best Film for his new feature Dreams. Plus, the director Radu Jude won the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay for Kontinental ’25 in official competition at our festival.
Other nods to the Berlinale are hidden in our programme:
- The film Timestamp presented in the documentary competition, will be screened in our Made in/with Luxembourg category
- Our closing film The Thing with Feathers, previewed on the Gala evening
- Our award film La Cache, which was selected for the competition — it will be introduced by Lionel Baier, the director on 15. 03
- The film Magic Farm was in the Panorama preview and is part of in our official selection out of competition at LuxFilmFest
- The confusing and ambitious film Reflet dans un diamant mort was also in the official competition
- Our opening film Hot Milk was presented in competition with its cast
- The presence of some of our International Jury members, Trine Dyrholm & Valerie Pachner.
