The Festival PASS costs €50. It grants access to 10 free tickets for all Festival screenings, with the exception of invitation-only, free, out-of-cinema, and otherwise indicated sessions. It is possible to reserve multiple tickets per session.

Note that the PASS is digital. A barcode will be sent via email which must be used for each ticket reservation.

The 30/30 PASS costs €30 and is reserved for individuals under 30 years old. Proof of age is required. It grants one free ticket for the Festival’s Fiction and Documentary competition screenings, applicable for 15 films.

1. Online accreditation request

Fill out the online accreditation request form available at www.luxfilmfest.lu under the Press/Pros section. The request is free and will be subject to validation by the Festival team. A response is sent within 48 hours.

2. Using the code

If validated, a code will be sent to you (our press and professional accreditations are digital). This code must be indicated at the beginning of the order when purchasing on our online ticketing website.

o The press accreditation is personal and allows for free booking of unlimited tickets (one ticket per session) for all Festival sessions, subject to availability.

o The professional accreditation is personal and allows for purchasing tickets at €5 each (one ticket per session, subject to availability).

Present the Press/Pro barcade

To access the cinema halls for your sessions, simply present the Pres/Pro barcode accreditation on your phone.

Your request is subject to validation by the Festival team. The response time will not exceed 48 hours.

You can purchase tickets and passes using cash or credit cards.

Yes, you can buy tickets directly at the box office of our three partner cinemas on the day of screenings. However, we strongly advise that you reserve your seats in advance to avoid queues.

Your order could not be completed due to a technical issue. Our sales system has automatically cancelled your order. Please contact us at tickets@luxfilmfest.lu with the following information:

• Proof of payment (such as a bank statement) which also includes the session/notification number of your transaction;

If you do not have proof of payment:

• The name of the cinema in question
• The date of the session for which you purchased the tickets
• The session and time
• The email address used to purchase the tickets

We will try to respond to your email as quickly as possible.

Regularly visit www.luxfilmfest.lu. You can also come on the day of the screening because seats may become available.

Tickets from past screenings are not automatically deleted from your Passbook. If you wish to delete them, you can follow these steps:

• Open the Passbook app
• Click on the ticket you want to delete
• At the bottom right, click on the ‘info’ icon represented by an “I”
• Click on the trash icon at the top left to permanently delete the ticket

Unfortunately, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

You can volunteer throughout the duration of the Festival. Volunteer assignments may take place in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Ticket Section

Tickets and passes can be purchased online at www.luxfilmfest.lu under the Ticketing section.

Select:

• The film;
• The date;
• The cinema;
• And the desired screening time.

Upon making your choice, select “Buy Tickets.” You will be directed to our online ticket purchasing site.

There, you will be able to specify:

• The number of tickets to purchase;
• Your contact details so that we can send your online ticket(s) via email;
• Whether you wish to pay for your tickets with a pass or an accreditation;
• How many of your tickets qualify for discounted rates (reduced or Kulturpass)

You will need to choose your payment method and you will be directed to our secure payment site to finalize the transaction. Upon payment, a confirmation will appear on your screen which includes all essential details. You can either print this or save it as a PDF. This confirmation will also be sent via email—useful if you prefer to scan the barcode at the entrance! You can also add the confirmation to your Passbook app.
