Hit Man
Synopsis
Gary, a philosophy professor, helps the police in his spare time by posing as a hitman. He meets a woman who has been beaten by her violent boyfriend. To rescue her, he has to forget all procedures and protocols.

Richard Linklater
Richard Linklater is an American film director, screenwriter and producer born on 30 July 1960 in Houston, Texas. He made a name for himself with his trilogy Before (Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight), and won numerous awards for his 12 year film Boyhood, including a Bafta and a Golden Globe for Best Director. He’s upping the ante with Merrily We Roll Along, an adaptation of a musical that is being filmed over 20 years and is due to be released in 2040. Richard Linklater is known for alternating between large-scale productions filmed over several years and more modest films. His filmography includes A Scanner Darkly, Where’d you go Bernadette, Rock Academy, Bernie and Spy Kids.
