Synopsis
A dog on holiday at the seaside, a fish in its pond, a boy planting drops in a cloud and a little girl drawing a water turtle: four tales for toddlers about water in all its forms.

Barbara Brunner
Née en 1981 en Suisse, Barbara Brunner obtient un diplôme en animation à la Haute école de Lucerne en 2008. Dès 2010, elle cofonde le studio d’animation Brunner&Meyer. Son dernier court-métrage, Miles Away, est présenté dans de nombreux festivals, notamment au DOK Leipzig, au Chicago International Children’s Film Festival ou encore au Cinekid à Amsterdam.
Alois Di Leo
Alois Di Leo is a director, producer, writer and animator born in Lima, Perú and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. He graduated with an MA in Animation Direction from the National Film and Television School in London before returning to Brazil to found the animation studio SINLOGO Animation. Alois Di Leo has worked in commercials, music videos and short films. His work has been showcased all around the globe.
Chantal Peten
Chantal Peten was born in Belgium in the mid-70s. She studied illustration and comics at the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts. She writes and illustrates children’s books and makes short animated films. Her work is published in Dutch at Clavis Uitgeverij and in French at Pastel’s and la joie de lire. She works regularly with the éditions Milan Presse.
Lena Von Döhren
Lena von Döhren was born and grew up in Berlin. After a two-year trip around the world, she studied audiovisual communication at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She did her master in animation at the Lucerne University of Arts. Lena now works as a director, animator and illustrator. Her four episodes of The little Bird won numerous awards and celebrated their premiere at the Berlinale. Her illustrated children’s book, Schau mal meine Freunde, is published by NordSüd Verlag (CH / USA).
Lena just finished Pond, a collaboration with illustrator Eva Rust: A short film for children about a fish getting stuck in a tidepool. The film premiered at this years Berlinale and is currently travelling to festivals around the world.

Eva Rust
Née en 1986 en Suisse, Eva Rust est autrice de livres jeunesse et réalisatrice. Elle obtient en 2010 un Bachelor en illustration scientifique, et travaille depuis en tant qu’illustratrice dans différents domaines, son œuvre restant très inspirée par la faune et la flore. Quand Eva Rust n’est pas en train de dessiner elle-même, elle enseigne le dessin aux apprentis designers graphique. Parfois elle travaille également pour le cinéma d’animation, ou encore dans le design textile pour des vêtements d’extérieur et de randonnée.
Marcus Vinicius Vasconcelos
Marcus Vinicius Vasconcelos has written, directed and animated several short films, including Realejo (2012), Pintas (2013) and Quando os Dias Eram Eternos (2016), which have won numerous festival awards. In 2023, he developed the children’s series Lulina e a Lua (Lulina and the Moon) and worked as an animator on several projects, including the feature film O menino e o mundo (The Boy and the World) by Alê Abreu. He is also an illustrator and collaborated on the album Father Francisco by Marina Myazaki.
