Biography

  1. The PARDES RIMONIM theater company was founded in 2005 around Amandine Truffy, a playwright and actress who graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique of Paris, and Bertrand Sinapi, author and director trained at the Sorbonne Nouvelle.

This team began by creating KranK, a monologue by Bertrand Sinapi, published at Harmattan, Jeanne la pudeur after Nicola Genka, and Italy Magique after P.P. Pasolini at the National Theater of Luxembourg. In 2010 the company signed its first triennial agreements with the Lorraine Region and the City of Metz around its approach to collaboration with artists from the European scene. From 2019 to 2021, the company becomes associated artists with the KulturFabrik of Esch-sur-Alzette, to consolidate their mutual European networks.

From 2023 to 2024, it signs its first agreement with the DRAC Grand Est. In connection with their research project “SURVIVING, SUR-LIVING, LIVING BETTER”, the company is developing an artistic and cultural residency hosted by the NEST – CDN of Thionville and the Nouveau Relax – Scène conventionnée of Chaumont.
