Kristina DUFKOVÁ

Kristina Dufková was born in 1978, she is a director, animator and artist. She studied animation at the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek and at the FAMU in Prague. She won Best Short Animated Film at Anifest in 2009 for her graduation film A Tear is Needed (2008) and wrote a book of the same name. Her cinematographic work can be distinguished by both her mastery of animation and visual stylization. In her artistic work, she combines two different worlds – the world of children and the world of adults.
