Lukas GREVIS

Lukas Grevis (1998, Esch-sur-Alzette) is a writer & director from Luxembourg. His focus lies on narrative films and music videos. He started working on film-sets in high school and directed first funded short films (The Song of the Shells) which won national & international prizes. His student films Dream Dancer (2019) and Two Figures at a River (2020), which he created during his studies at the Sarajevo Film Academy were both selected at the Sarajevo Film Festival. He since directed multiple short films One Day Longer (2020), Defining Leift (2020) and numerous music videos for Luxembourgish singers/bands. The first season of his anthology series The Inside of the Outsider (Season 1) is currently being released and has attracted a Luxembourgish and international young audience of until now 10 000 spectators online and in live screenings.

His feature film D’Land am Schiet premiered at this years Luxembourg City Film Festival with a theatrical release in Luxembourg in october 2024 and screenings in different countries. His second feature film Äppel a Biren will be released in 2025.
