Biography

Holder of a master’s degree in cultural management, Mylène Carrière began her career at the Magnum Photos agency in Paris. She notably contributed to the production of exhibitions featuring Martin Parr, Elliott Erwitt, Josef Koudelka, and Raymond Depardon. It was alongside him that she joined the exhibition production team of the Les Rencontres d’Arles festival in 2006. Particularly interested in the connections between still and moving images, especially in documentary cinema, she joined the programming team of the FID Marseille international festival. It was in 2008 that she settled in Luxembourg to join the Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA), where she is responsible for the education and professional training department. She supports the audiovisual and photography sectors in facing current and future challenges of creation. She also works as a consultant in promotion and press relations for cinema.
