Nicole VÖGELE

Nicole Vögele is a Swiss director and journalist based between Berlin and Zurich, as well as a professor at the Dresden University of Fine Arts. She studied journalism at MAZ Lucerne and documentary filmmaking at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany. Her first feature-length film, Nebel (2014), won a special mention in the Dialogue in Perspective section at the Berlinale, while her second film Closing Time (2018) won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Film Festival. The Landscape and the Fury is her third feature-length film.
