Synopsis

A zesty detective comedy

At 55, small-town criminal Jos finds he has been completely sidelined—leading to frustration. His daughter disrespects him, his wife does not trust him, and his friends openly laugh at him. As he frantically tries to fix a drug deal that went catastrophically wrong, he desperately seeks the reason behind his misfortune.

Michiel TEN HORN

Michiel ten Horn is a Dutch screenwriter and director. He studied animation, a background he kept active in his storytelling and use of form, even in live-action. After Ten Horn’s debut movie The deflowering of Eva van End, with its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2012, the film magazine Variety listed Ten Horn as one of the “Ten European directors to watch.”
His film The Peter Pan man (Aanmodderfakker) gloriously conquered the 2014 Netherlands Film Festival with six nominations and three wins. He recently directed the first Dutch Netflix Original Series, Ares.
