Synopsis
A cat wakes up in a world invaded by water, where all human lifeform seems to have disappeared. The cat finds refuge on a boat with a group of other animals, but getting along with them turns out to be an even greater challenge than overcoming the their fear of water! From now on, all these animals will have to learn to get over their differences and to adapt to the new world that is now theirs…
Flow is impressive in its uninterrupted storytelling and spectacular animation, borrowing here and there from the world of video games. The film Latvian director Gints Zibalodis offers us is a true action masterpiece, a monument that was premiered in Cannes in 2024.

Gints ZILBALODIS
Gints Zibalodis is a film and animated film director from Latvia. He entirely made his first feature film Away on his own, and won Best Feature Film (Contrechamp) at Annecy Film Festival.
He also previously directed seven shorts using a variety of animation techniques, including hand-drawn animation, and live-action 3D animation, often blending their aesthetic characteristics.
Flow is his second animated feature. It had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section.
