Grüße vom Mars
Synopsis
Ten-year-old Tom dreams of being an astronaut. He also hates the color red, loves rules, and can’t stand change. When his mother accepts a temporary assignment overseas, he and his siblings are forced to spend a month in Lunau with their grandparents. With his careful routine upended, Tom arms himself with a special spacesuit and a logbook to pretend that he is on an adventure to an isolated planet. Can Tom survive Mission Lunau?
A touching story about a neurodivergent boy whose quirky grandparents help him learn to cope with change. In equal turns humorous and poignant, the film features charming hand-drawn animations that help bring Tom’s imaginary world to life.
