Synopsis

Think global, act local

Based on Andreas Malm’s 2021 non-fiction book, this heist thriller follows eight disparate climate activists as they plot to blow up an oil refinery pipeline in Texas. Each of the group has a personal reason to sabotage the pipeline.

Born in Boulder, Colorado, Daniel Goldhaber graduated from Harvard University’s Visual and Environmental Studies film programme. In 2013. while studying, he wrote, produced, and directed short film Bad Kid. His first feature, Cam, a Netflix original horror about webcam girls, was critically acclaimed by The Guardian’s Yomi Adegoke among others.
