Synopsis

A hallucinatory journey along America's darkest paths.

Lou runs a gym where she meets Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder who travels across town to Las Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love triggers a series of violent events.

Rose Glass’s second feature film, Love Lies Bleeding (following Saint Maud in 2019), is a “film noir” halfway between fiery romance and bloodthirsty revenge. It’s a thriller full of promise, supported by a stellar cast: Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian (Marvel and Star Wars martial artist), as well as Ed Harris, Dave Franco and Jena Malone.
