She Loved Blossoms More (Agapouse ta louloudia perissotero)

Yannis VESLEMES
Late Night Bizarre by Utopia Artistic Collaborations 2024 86 min France, Greece, New Zealand

Synopsis

An atmospheric trip into the chasms of grief

With funding from the mysterious Logo (Dominique Pinon), three young brothers create a singular time machine in their crumbling house, hoping to bring their mother back from the dead. But the complexity of the task and their father’s unfortunate involvement eventually send them into a psychedelic nightmare, calling into question their understanding of time, space, and their own memories.

A hallucinatory exploration of mourning that is not healing, She Loved Blossoms More takes us into a world that is as disturbing as it is deliciously appealing, always on the verge of a dream… Or a nightmare.
