Synopsis
A female director is consumed with her own shitty committee on the first shooting day of her feature film debut, all the while overcoming the restless storm of emotions that evoke the hallucinations of some of her beloved sequences from cinematic masterpieces.

Raha Raz Ghashghai
Raha Razavi (Ghashghai), born in Tehran and based in Luxembourg, is an independent filmmaker and visual artist. After graduating in Architectural Engineering, she attended Abbas Kiarostami’s filmmaking workshop (2009-2010) and took two courses in Scriptwriting and Directing with Asghar Farhadi. Beginning her filmmaking career in 2009 as an independent artist, she created an experimental short film, On Losing the Train of My Thoughts. Since 2014, Raha has made ten short films (experimental, documentary, and video arts), all of which were screened at prestigious Iranian film festivals in Georgia, France, and the United States. Stairs is her debut live-action short film, written by herself and funded by the Luxembourg Film Fund
