Synopsis
Middle-age couple Jean-Philippe and Sophie live a mundane life in Paris and are looking to rekindle their relationship by going on a short vacation without their children. She wants to try somewhere new, like Andalucía in Spain or walking in Aubrac, and at all costs wants to avoid Italy, because he has already been there with his exes and is obsessed with the country. They end up in Sicily as a compromise. Will the trip reignite their passion?

Sophie Letourneur
Born in 1978, Sophie Letourneur studied at the École Duperré and then at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. She went on to make experimental videos, installations, documentaries and a short film in super 8. In 2004, she directed her first narrative short film, La Tête dans le vide. Further shorts, Manue Bolonaise, and Le Marin masque were select¬ed for 2006 Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes and the Locarno Festival respectively. She has now made five feature films.
