Synopsis

Fall in love with your inner monster

After being diagnosed with cancer and being rejected by her playwright boyfriend — whose play she helped him write before their split—young actress Laura Franco goes back to her childhood home where she discovers a monster is now living.

Caroline Lindy is an American actress and director who grew up in New York City before she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for filmmaking. She has written and directed various projects including short films, web series, music videos, commercials, and features.
Her last short film, Aspirational Slut, a hyper-sexual romantic comedy, won the Audience Award at SXSW 2022 and received a Vimeo Staff Pick.
Caroline Lindy received a grant in 2019 from Women in Film to write and direct a short film, Your Monster, that she then also adapted into her debut feature and which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
