Christel Henon

Lawyer at the Luxembourg Bar for more than 25 years, specialized in international business law, press and audiovisual law, in 2008 Christel Henon founded with Lilian Eche, an independent Luxembourg production company, Bidibul Productions. Christel has produced a wide variety of films in different genres such as: family comedies and dramas, usually adapted from famous novels or comic books,
such as: « Boule et Bill » (2013) based on the comic strip by Jean Roba, « Au bonheur
des Ogres » (2013) based on the novel by Daniel Pennac, « Troisièmes Noces » (2017) based on
the novel by Tom Lanoye, « Complètement Cramé! (in development) based on the novel by Gilles Legardinier or original ideas such as « Room 212 » (2019); action films such as « The Last Diamond » (2014), fantasy films such as « The Room » (March 2020 French release), committed films such as: « Tout tout de suite » (2016), films
films such as « Dead Man Talking » (2013), nominated for the César for best foreign film, and which received several audience awards, and films in the world cinema category such as « Sibel » (2017), « Silver Star » (currently in preparation). Christel also produces animated films such as: « 108 Rois Démons » (2015) inspired by a Chinese novel, « Drôles de Petites Bêtes » adapted from the best-seller by Antoon Krings, and « Croc-Blanc » (2018, selected at Sundance in particular) based on the novel by Jack London, « Le Petit Nicolas » in preparation. Curious and eager for novelty, Christel decided to embark on the adventure of virtual reality. After having produced in 2019  » Playmobil the Movie Vr adventures « , she is currently producing in virtual reality  » Hypnosis  » (in production).
Since 2014, in addition to her function as producer, Christel has become the director of a new development pole. Within this new pole, have been developed / are in development productions, such as  » Croc Blanc  » (released in 2018),  » Jagues de Toto  » (in theaters July 22, 2020),  » Kid Paddle « , based on the comic strip by Midam,  » The (New) Kid « , based on the timeless film by Charlie Chaplin,  » Le Petit Nicolas  » based on the work of Sempé and Goscinny. For a few years, Christel has also been co-writing film scripts such as « Complétement Cramé » based on the bestseller by Gilles Le Gardinier (in progress), « Baisers Sucrés » based on the comic strip « Les jours sucrés » (Dargaud editions, in progress) …and is a script doctor (no less than 30 scripts analyzed).
The realization is thus a natural step that this woman with multiple talents is about to take.
